 for the love EXERCISE!

I honestly can't believe I have been able to lose so much weight without exercising and while it has been nice I think it is time to start getting my workout on.

I don't plan on doing much as far as exercise goes because 1) I am just starting out 2) I am going to take this slow 3) I am completely out of shape 4) I am all about doing as little as possible in the world of exercise.  LOL!

In anticipation of my new daily activity I went out and bought some crazy comfortable shoes.  I seriously love them!  They are so light that I barely feel them on my feet and it almost feels like they mold to my foot.  No idea if they are a good shoe or not but for me they are perfect. *yup that statement is based on 1 single workout.  LMAO!*


So today I got on the treadmill for the first time in a really really long time.  I know I said I was going to start exercising awhile ago but I never really got into it.  In fact the treadmill thought I weighed 234 pounds.  Um nope, that would be in the 170's stupid treadmill!  Anyway, after reading lots of Paleo blogs and being absolutely terrified of doing a Crossfit workout such as this...


I decided on a nice slow walk doing interval hills at a MAX speed of 3.8mph. I walked 1.42 miles in 30 minutes which should tell you that when I wasn't walking 3.8 I was averaging 2.5mph. LOL! Good job Michaela! *blushing from embarrassment*

Just so I wouldn't feel completely out of shape I held a plank for 45 seconds to prove to myself that there really are abs underneath there. :) Again not a stellar performance and not even close to those "nasty" girls in the video but hey it is progress right?

It really did feel great to get up and actually do something beyond facebook and watching the stupid Casey Anthony trial. I have also been trying to go outside with the dogs for a minimum of 15 minutes for 3 times a day to play ball and soak up some Vitamin D. Of course this activity goes beyond my daily maid responsibilities.

Actually I am pretty proud of the schedule I have going on as far as cleaning the house goes. On Mondays & Thursdays I clean the downstairs and on Tuesdays & Fridays I clean the upstairs. Tuesdays & Fridays are also laundry days since I am cleaning the upstairs and every other Friday I clean the bathrooms. So far it has been super easy to keep up but like I told some friends of mine what else is a jobless housewife to do with her time?! LOL! Seriously I am beyond lucky that I get to stay home and my sole responsibility is to take care of myself and my home. It rocks.

So after a shitty weekend of eating I got off my ass and did a little exercise. I can't wait to see where this takes me!!
