 variety is key

I am loving this modified diet that I am doing!!  For me at this point in the weight loss journey, I can't keep doing the same thing over and over again without getting burnt out.  I need to mix it up or I know I will get frustrated and the more frustrated I get the more likely it is I will want to quit.  I can't quit, quitting is not an option at this point.

Today I have enjoyed eating lots of yummy food and besides the low amount of calories I am loving it!  For lunch I had 3 extra large eggs with 1 tablespoon of butter and 2 cups of steamed spinach.  For dinner I had 4oz of shrimp cooked in 1tbsp of coconut oil, 2oz of red potato with 2tsp of olive oil, and then steamed spinach again.  Since I needed the fat I poured the extra coconut oil I had in the pan over the spinach and shrimp and it was soooooo good!  Can we say coconut shrimp without frying it?!  I love it!

I am dealing with some nagging hunger and as much as I wanted to come back here in a week and say I did it all without HCG, I think I am going to have to start taking the pellets again.  I went all day yesterday without them and today as well but I can see the hunger starting to get a bit much for me to handle.  Who knows, I may wake up and feel differently tomorrow but for now I am going to start the HCG again and hopefully that will help.  If not I am not quite sure what I will do but I am sure I can figure it all out.

The good news is that in the first 2 days of the diet I have lost more weight than I have the previous 2 rounds in the first few days!  Of course I still am not down to where I was but I am hopeful I will be there soon!
